How to Determine the Cause of ORA-6502 Errors

This is quick note for myself in figuring out the following error we experienced this morning.

“FRM-40735: BUILD_COLL trigger rarised unhandled exception ORA-06502″

At first, we refer to Oracle Metalink Note:139548.1

Then, we narrowed down that a sequence is incremented to a value which exceed the limit defined in our form application.

At last, we reset the sequence by referring the attached guide, along with Oracle Meralink Note:443618.1.
